CURRENT OPENING
This position is responsible for the accurate and competitive estimates that allows RJM to win project bids, as well as maintain budgeted profitability. Will partner with clients and subcontractors as an important piece of the relationship building that is essential to our continued success.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates pre-construction services (i.e. estimating, scheduling, project planning)
- Key role in a team to develop a plan for winning the job
- Coordinate the translation of customer expectations to subcontractor partners through professional communication and technical expertise
- Prepare accurate bid packages for subcontractors and suppliers
- Assist with the training and development of other estimators
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in conceptual estimating and associated software (Timberline, on-screen take-off)
- 8+ years of commercial construction estimating
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to apply technical knowledge to relationship management and business development
- LEED AP preferred
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Engineering
