Earlier this week, RJM Construction joined the City of Chanhassen, BKV Group, project partners, and community members to celebrate the groundbreaking of the future Chanhassen Community Center, marking a major milestone for a vision years in the making.
Designed to serve residents of all ages, the new facility will feature two ice rinks, a field house, indoor walking track, playground, fitness and activity spaces, and flexible gathering areas that support recreation, wellness, and community connection. More than just a building, the community center will provide a welcoming destination where people can come together for generations to come.
The project reflects Chanhassen’s motto, “A Community for Life,” and represents years of planning, collaboration, and shared commitment to investing in the city’s future. RJM is honored to help bring this important community asset to life and looks forward to seeing the vision take shape over the coming months.
We thank the City of Chanhassen, BKV Group, and all project partners for their dedication in reaching this exciting milestone. Here’s to breaking ground and building what’s next for the Chanhassen community.
From the first shovel in the ground to the highly anticipated first puck drop, this project has already brought together a passionate and dedicated team. The anticipation is building as construction progresses, and we look forward to seeing our vision come to life over the coming months. The new TRIA Rink will not only provide additional space for games and practices but will also serve as a hub for community events and gatherings. We’re excited to witness the next generation of skaters take to the ice and to watch our community thrive as we create new traditions together at the TruStone Center.
