MINNEAPOLIS (January 11, 2016) — RJM Construction, a Minneapolis-based general contractor, is constructing a new 87,000 sq.-ft. charter school in St. Cloud for Athlos Academies.
Located on a 13-acre site on the south side of St. Cloud, the school will initially serve 800 students in grades K-6. Once fully enrolled, the school will serve 1,200 students in grades K-8.
When complete in August, the single-story Athlos Leadership Academy will include state-of-the-art classrooms and fully-equipped indoor athletic facilities with both hardwood court and turf field space. The property will also have outdoor athletic fields for baseball, soccer, lacrosse and football activities, as well as a playground area.
In addition to RJM, the project team includes BRS Architects, Stapley Engineering and Musgrove Engineers. RJM completed their first project for Athlos Academies in 2014, at the school’s Leadership Academy in Brooklyn Park, Minn.
