RJM and our project partners are busy working on the 724 Lofts project located in the former Security Warehouse building on 724 1st. St. N. in the North Loop. The project entails the conversion of one of the few remaining buildings of its kind in Minneapolis, built in the late1800s and listed on the National Historic Register. The team’s focus is to maintain the structure and and character by renovating the original timber beams, exposed brick walls, and wood ceilings. Exterior work includes masonry repairs and a residential patio in the rear of the building. The conversion from office space to residential and mixed-used space is scheduled to be completed late this year.
This is RJM’s third adaptive reuse project within the last year, and one of six multifamily projects in downtown Minneapolis. We are excited to partner with developer Solhem and look forward to providing additional unique living space in the area.
