Finance and Commerce’s 2022 Women in Construction Awards ceremony will be held in May this year! We congratulate RJM Construction’s Project Manager Marlee Gartner for her nomination in the Outstanding Project Management category. Marlee’s trajectory from intern to project engineer to her current management role demonstrates her natural ability to engage fellow team members and project partners for overall project success. Each step in her career at RJM was achieved through a great work ethic and a simple desire to ensure client satisfaction. Marlee’s attention to detail and professionalism is appreciated by all who work with her to complete projects on time, and within budget. Additionally, in 2019 Marlee won RJM’s Safety and Excellence Award, which acknowledges staff who go above and beyond safety best practices on the job site.
Marlee is actively involved in various industry, community, and outreach efforts, including MNCREW, and Minnetonka High School’s Momentum program, which offers high schoolers the opportunity to get hands-on experience in the construction industry (Marlee is pictured below leading a tour of the Plymouth Community Center project for students of the program).
Marlee deserves this recognition and we wish her the best of luck when the awards are announced on May 12!
