CLUES is a nonprofit organization providing a variety of services to the Latino community. The 19-000-square-foot addition provided space for six new classrooms, flexible meeting areas, a Teen Tech Center, and a teaching and commercial kitchen. The project followed B3 design guidelines to ensure that the building materials were sustainable. The facility features an exterior custom metal wall panel system which is also featured on the stairwell handrails.
The existing facility had to remain operational throughout the duration of construction, and the project team ensured there was minimal disruption. Temporary entrances, offsite parking coordination, and bilingual directional signage helped redirect staff, clients and visitors so that business could be conducted as usual.
