District Energy, a pioneer in sustainable energy solutions, hired RJM Construction to renovate the Jemne Building in downtown St. Paul for their company headquarters.

The goal of the renovation was to restore the artistic components of the historic building while showcasing new sustainability features. Renovations included, offices and meeting rooms with floor to ceiling windows, LED lighting throughout, an upgraded HVAC system, and a green sustainable wall.

In 2017, the project received a Sustainable Saint Paul award under the category of Green Building Design.
