There were two new entryways that featured landscaping, signage, public art, specialty pavement, and crosswalks. On Lewis Street, reconstruction of the parking lot included installation of colored concrete, light fixtures, a rain garden median, and silva cells to support tree growth and help surface water management.
Due to the availability of project funding, RJM started in late fall and completed the project during the winter. Despite the expedited schedule, weather challenges, and working around the general public, the project was completed successfully and according to the city’s vision.
