The City of Wayzata selected RJM Construction to remodel the City Hall to create additional workspaces and complete improvements for the motor vehicle, administration, and police departments.

The project was completed in three phases to work around the occupied spaces safely, allowing the City Hall and DMV to remain partially open during construction.

Working through COVID-19, the team provided a plan to address the daily challenges. Contractors were required to sign in and confirm they didn’t have any symptoms, would wear masks, and adhere to social distancing. RJM worked with subcontractors to build acrylic panels for the city’s reception desks to ensure safety once open to the public.
