RJM Construction’s Treasure Island Center project includes the Minnesota Wild’s state-of-the-art practice facility and training center.

The training facility is located on the lower level creating a private space for the players while taking advantage of underutilized space in the building. The players have access to the training and practice facility through private underground parking and access to TRIA rink through freight-sized passenger elevators with extended cab heights so that they can wear skates and equipment from the locker room to the ice rink.

The practice facility has a 4,300 sq. ft. weight room and workout area, an oval-shaped dressing room, a whirlpool room with a HydroWorx Thermal and Polar Plunge pool, and a HydroWorx 750i Series pool with a speed treadmill. There is a theatre room for reviewing film, and a kitchen lounge area for the players to refuel and relax. The facility also offers a unique space for the coaches to change, work, and eat. The Wild’s practice facility and training center is just one component of the Treasure Island Center project, along with TRIA Rink and the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency.
