RJM was hired by the City of Edina to complete an 11-month renovation to Pamela Park.
The improvements included updated athletic turf fields, a park shelter addition, redesigned and expanded parking lots and additional walking trails. The RJM team worked diligently to deliver a successful project amid challenges. Contaminated soils were discovered and removed from the Pamela Park site. Located adjacent to a protected wetland, catch basins and additional wetlands were also built to aid water drainage and meet requirements of the Minnehaha Watershed district. Before the improvements, Pamela Park was overgrown and underutilized by the City and its residents. The renewed 62-acre park has become a popular spot enjoyed by the entire community.
