Team RJM celebrates many promotions this spring!

April 5, 2024

RJM is excited to share that five employees from the project management group received well-deserved promotions this spring! Their outstanding contributions, leadership, and dedication have significantly impacted our projects’ success and exemplify the values we hold at RJM. We are immensely grateful for their hard work and commitment to excellence. These promotions not only recognize their individual achievements but also reflect RJM’s ongoing commitment to fostering talent and providing growth opportunities within our organization. We look forward to their continued success and contributions as we strive towards our collective goals.

Trent Peper has been promoted to Project Engineer II! In his first year at RJM, he worked at TCO Plymouth, Mississippi Creative Arts, and was stationed out at Xcel Sioux Falls for a few months before returning to the office, where he jumped right in to assist the 1010 Lofts team. Trent is an active member of the Employee Engagement & Wellness Committee within the office. Congratulations, Trent!

Hunter Koesters has been promoted to Project Manager! He was first introduced to RJM through our internship program and has been with RJM full-time since 2021. In a short period, Hunter has demonstrated his ability to grasp the construction and RJM processes very quickly. He has played an active and vital role in many of our larger complex projects during his time here, including the Elk River Ice Arena, 1010 Lofts, and, most recently, Duffey 2.0. Since joining RJM, Hunter has shown great attention to detail and has demonstrated true reliability and dedication to his project team, all coupled with an innate sense of always wanting to learn more. Congratulations, Hunter!

Tyler Chaika-Gennow has been promoted to Project Engineer III! Tyler joined RJM as a project engineer in 2022 after moving to the Twin Cities from Fargo, ND, where we worked in a similar role out of college. Since joining our team, Tyler has been outstanding in all his projects. He displays incredible attention to detail and is willing to jump into any issue presented. He’s organized and has a remarkable ability to orchestrate work onsite strategically. Congratulations, Tyler!

Simon Mark has been promoted to Project Manager II! Simon started with RJM as a project engineer in 2017 and quickly rose to project manager, where he then completed the Duffey 1.0 project and continues to work on the Duffey 2.0 project. Simon’s ability to navigate these complex projects and work proactively has been critical to his and the projects’ success. He has been a great mentor to younger project engineers, effectively navigates negotiations with subcontractors, and has a ‘go get ’em’ attitude. Congratulations, Simon!

Bryce Kamenick has been promoted to Project Manager II! Bryce has been a great asset to RJM since joining the team in 2019 as an intern and has spent the last 2.5 years broadening his project manager and leader skills. This year, Bryce won a Commerce and Finance Rising Young Professional award, which honors individuals who impact Minnesota’s business. In his project management career, he has been an integral part of the teams for multiple successful TCO projects and is now leading the team to complete Bruce Vento Elementary for St Paul Public Schools and enhancing his skillset as a project manager in other markets for other clients. Congratulations, Bryce!
